The Don't Forget My Pet Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to assisting individuals in need of support keep their beloved pets, especially those over 65, living alone or facing mental health challenges.
Thereby preventing isolation and loneliness, and improving mental and physical well-being for both humans and animals.

Hi, I'm Digga the CTO (Chief Treat Officer) and inspiration for the Don't Forget My Pet Foundation.

I like long walks on the beach, cuddles with everyone and playing with my brother.... oh, and I love treats!

Volunteer as a foster parent
We believe it takes a community to prevent isolation and loneliness, so if you're interested in helping out by becoming a foster parent, please get in touch. We are building a network in Geelong and Melbourne at the moment and would love your help.

Other Ways you can volunteer...
Sometimes fostering a pet is challenging, so other ways you can help out are:
- to help walk dogs
- to do home visits and help with feeding and comfort
- help take pets to the vet
- take food and toys to pets
- help out with fundraising events to raise money for services and vet care
- Or maybe you have a special skill and would like to volunteer to help us
Are you in need of help?
Are you or do you know someone that is in need or our help. We are currently operating most services in Geelong and building capability in the Barwon region. Hopefully we will be able to offer services across Melbourne in 2025.
